Job description

This national main tier contractor have a proven background in the delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects nationally across Australia. They are growing rapidly across the Eastern Seaboard and are looking to build on the success of 2 recently awarded projects and have been shortlisted on a number of upcoming tenders in Brisbane.

They're primary focus is on Rail and Road projects and have identified a need in the new year for a Senior Level Engineer to join the business on a sub-consultant basis to provide engineer support across x2 tenders. Reporting to Senior Management you will be expected to provide engineering expertise to develop construction methodologies, assist with tender submissions and schedules as well as develop planning and procurement strategies for the drainage scope of works for a major road upgrade.

We are actively looking to speak with experienced civil engineers who have a proven background in the design and delivery of major road and rail upgrade projects and posses prior experience of assisting tenders across the QLD region. Knowledge of both local standards and specifications would be a strong advantage and as of the nature of the scope of work applicants must have a prior experience in the delivery of Bulk Earthworks, Drainage, Rail Alignment, Combines Service Routes type projects.

Selection Criteria:

- Civil Engineering Degree
- Experience in he delivery of complex road or rail projects
- At least 8 years post graduate experience
- Prior experience working in a pre-contracts team
- Work with minimal supervision and able to create and discuss engineering solutions
