We are seeking a capable and driven Senior Project Architect or Associate-level professional to join a collaborative and design-led studio delivering high-quality architecture with a focus on aged care and seniors living.
This role offers the opportunity to lead and coordinate the delivery of significant projects from inception through to construction, while playing a key role in managing design quality, client relationships, and project teams. You’ll contribute across all phases of design and documentation, with a focus on technical excellence, coordination, and thoughtful design outcomes.

You’ll contribute across all phases of design and documentation, with a focus on technical excellence, coordination, and thoughtful design outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects across all stages – from concept design through to construction.
- Coordinate internal teams and external consultants to meet design, program, and budget expectations.
- Oversee technical documentation, QA processes, and compliance with building codes and standards.
- Act as a key liaison between the client and design team.
- Support and mentor junior staff while encouraging innovative thinking and design excellence.
- Manage stakeholder engagement, authority approvals, and contract administration.
What You Bring:
- A minimum of 8–10 years of architectural experience, ideally within Australia.
- Demonstrated experience in seniors living, aged care, or complex multi-residential projects.
- Registered Architect (preferred, not essential) and/or D&BP registration.
- Proficiency in Revit (minimum 2 years), with knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper, Adobe Suite a plus.
- Strong technical and detailing skills, including site coordination and contract admin experience.
- A solid understanding of the NCC and Australian Standards.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- A proactive, flexible, and solutions-focused mindset.
