The Role

You will be focusing on refurbishment and new build light commercial projects including office blocks, aged care, retail, hospitality and more. 

You'll be reporting to the Projects Director and be responsible for evaluating designs, developing ideas and overcoming problems alongside the Project Management and Engineering teams. 

You will need a strong handle on the design of HVAC / mechanical systems including cooling towers, VRV / VRF systems, hot & cold water etc. 

You'll also need to have good experience of the construction phase on commercial projects and be able to liaise with clients, colleagues and sub-contractors.  

Requirements

• Mechanical engineering degree is essential
• Minimum 10 years' experience in the field, preferably with a mechanical contractor 
• Experience on commercial projects is preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
