An established civil contractor is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead its Civil & Construction Recycling division. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing crushing, recycling, and material management operations that convert construction waste into reusable road-base products, supporting sustainable project delivery across WA.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with crushing & screening experience outside the mining sector who enjoys managing people, plant, and site performance in a fast-moving operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily site operations including crushing and recycling activities
- Lead site crews, operators, and support personnel
- Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and company procedures
- Coordinate plant, equipment, and logistics requirements
- Monitor productivity, quality, and operational performance
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders
- Identify and resolve operational issues on site
- Maintain site documentation, reporting, and operational records
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Essential: Crushing & screening experience (ideally not from mining environments)
- Experience recycling non-organic materials into construction/building products
- Demonstrated capability leading site operations or teams in civil environments
- Mechanical knowledge (desirable)
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Solid understanding of WHS and environmental compliance
- Experience managing heavy plant and mobile equipment
- Working knowledge of the civil construction industry
- Full Australian working rights
