The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the national marketing team of a respected engineering consultancy as a Senior Marketing & Bid Specialist. Supporting business development activities across all Australian offices, you'll work closely with Directors, Principals, and Engineers to maintain brand consistency and produce high-quality tender submissions, proposals, and marketing collateral in a fast-paced environment.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the national marketing team of a respected engineering consultancy as a Senior Marketing & Bid Specialist. Supporting business development activities across all Australian offices, you'll work closely with Directors, Principals, and Engineers to maintain brand consistency and produce high-quality tender submissions, proposals, and marketing collateral in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, manage, and edit tender submissions, EOIs, capability statements, and company profiles using InDesign and Word for Sydney and national offices
- Design impactful tender presentations and review submissions for accuracy and consistency
- Liaise with technical teams to design, edit, and format engineering reports and PowerPoint presentations
- Develop and maintain marketing collateral including brochures, CVs, promotional materials, and digital content
- Create and publish engaging content for LinkedIn and Instagram
- Assist with lead generation materials and business development initiatives
- Maintain knowledge libraries and image resources
- Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all outputs
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within building, architecture, or engineering sectors
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Previous social media content experience (LinkedIn and Instagram)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience in WordPress (preferred)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple non-negotiable deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to interpret EOIs and RFTs, identify key selection criteria, and match to written content
- Highly organised, reliable, and self-motivated with strong initiative
- Collaborative team player with excellent relationship-building skills
- Flair for graphic design and visual presentation
