Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Fire Services Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in Sydney. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and overseeing fire protection systems for a variety of high-profile projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Documentation: Lead the design and documentation of fire protection systems including fire detection, suppression, and alarm systems in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Project Management: Manage and coordinate fire services projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and expertise to junior engineers and project teams, ensuring the implementation of best practices and innovative solutions.
• Client Liaison: Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored fire protection solutions. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs comply with Australian building codes, standards, and regulations, and actively stay updated with changes in the industry.
• Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure fire protection systems are installed and operating as designed.
• Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

  
Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire services engineering within the building services industry.
• Proficiency in fire protection system design software and relevant engineering tools. Strong understanding of Australian building codes and standards related to fire safety.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a positive team culture.
