CGC are working with a leading firm of consulting engineers with a global presence. They are seeking a dedicated Senior Fire Protection Engineer with minimum of 5years experience to join the established and growing team in Perth.

The Role - Senior Fire Protection Engineer 

• Assist Project Leader responsible for the firm’s overall involvement on the project and the administration of design interface between disciplines. 
• Provide fire protection design expertise on single and multi-disciplinary projects.
• Review technical submissions by Contractors and Sub-Contractors and the quality of construction against the specified requirements
• Disciplines may include: Communications, Security, Lifts, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Hydraulics, NDY Light, ESD, Fire Engineering and Acoustics

Within this role you will be involved in a wide range of projects from Healthcare facilities through to commercial office developments and retail developments, both as new build and refurbishments across WA.


About you  
You will use your experience and technical ability to manage delivery of fire protection designs within single and multi-discipline projects. Complete engineering analysis and design of Fire Protection Systems as well as liaise with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders. 

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years engineering experience across the full project lifecycle and responsibility for delivering projects
• Experience working within the building services sector utilising Australian building codes and standards
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information of a complex nature both verbally and in writing with all stakeholders across multiple disciplines including colleagues and clients
• Ability to exercise well-developed problem-solving skills and use substantial initiative and judgement to work independently to meet objectives
• Well-developed problem-solving skills.
