Are you an experienced Construction Foreman ready to lead on a significant new project?

A highly respected, quality-focused tier 2 commercial construction firm is seeking a skilled Foreman to join their delivery team for an exciting $15
Million education project located on the Gold Coast.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a landmark community asset and work alongside experienced professionals. You will report to your Site Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision & Leadership: Effectively manage and lead site personnel, sub-contractors, and direct labour to ensure high standards of quality and productivity.
• Program Delivery: Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure all construction activities align with the project program and scheduled milestones.
• Quality Control: Oversee and enforce strict quality assurance procedures, ensuring work is completed to specifications and industry standards.
• Safety & Compliance: Champion a strong safety culture on-site, conducting toolboxes, hazard assessments, and ensuring full WHS compliance at all times.
• Resource Management: Coordinate the delivery and efficient use of plant, materials, and equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate daily site records, logs, and progress reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Foreman on commercial construction projects, preferably within the education, health, or institutional sectors.
• Previous experience with a well known builder in the Tier 2 or Tier 3 sectors
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction techniques, and WHS regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Relevant trade qualification or construction management certification is highly desirable.
• Current WHS White Card.
