Mechanical Fitters x65 - Mining / LNG

• $5,300+/wk GROSS + severance
• 3:1 Roster 

CGC Recruitment are seeking experienced, motivated and skilled Mechanical Fitters for a large construction project in WA.
 
Duties;

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment across SMP scopes.
• Work on turbines, compressors, pumps, and other rotating equipment.
• Perform flange management and flange testing to project standards.
• Carry out precision tasks including laser alignment of rotating machinery.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs.
• Assist with power generation equipment installation and mechanical assemblies.
• Complete bolt‑up, torqueing, and mechanical commissioning support.
• Maintain strict WHS compliance and safe work practices on site.

 
Requirements:

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate 
• Australian Driver's Licence
• Compressor/ Turbine experience essential
• 2+ years in the mining industry will be highly regarded
• Hold current Working at Heights and Confined Space ticket
• Construction White Card
• Full Working Rights (Passport and or VISA)
• Strong commitment towards safety and quality
• Excellent troubleshooting & diagnostic skills
• Motivated and hard working with a professional attitude
• RIO, BHP, FMG, ROY HILL inductions are advantageous
• National Police Check within 6 months or willing to obtain one (desired)
