Project Engineers - Major Road & Highway Projects (FIFO/DIDO 10:4)

We are currently seeking experienced Project Engineers to join a leading contractor delivering major highway and road construction projects across Western Australia. These are site-based roles offered on a FIFO or DIDO 10:4 roster, working on large-scale infrastructure programs.

Upcoming project locations:

• Port Hedland (FIFO)
• Southern Cross (DIDO)
  Both projects commencing late April 2026

This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who have a strong background in MRWA (Main Roads WA) projects and are looking to take the next step in their career on high-profile civil works.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver road and highway construction packages in line with project requirements
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Oversee quality assurance, ensuring compliance with MRWA specifications and standards
• Support planning, programming, and cost control activities
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to HSE policies and procedures
• Liaise with key stakeholders including clients, consultants, and internal teams

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer on MRWA road construction projects
• Background working with reputable Australian main contractors
• Strong understanding of roadworks, pavements, drainage, and bulk earthworks
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects in line with strict specifications and deadlines
• Full Australian working rights (essential)
• Willingness and ability to work FIFO/DIDO on a 10:4 roster
