Job description

Australian civil and electrical construction business that delivers services to a diverse range of industries including the private and public sector, state and federal governments across Australia.

The Role

Ensuring project construction activities within the electrical scope are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications.
Managing electrical and instrumentation engineering / technical queries on site
Prepare work packs, method statements and other construction related information in a timely manner as required to support the work schedule.
Investigate and resolve engineering technical related problems and provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of construction managers, superintendents, and contractors.
Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries.

Skills & Qualifications

6-8 years’ experience in Project Engineering on large-scale mining and Oil & Gas projects working for similar sized companies.
Previous experience working in an Electrical Engineering capacity, developing project/construction schedules and work packs, completing progress reporting and monitoring milestones.
Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels.
A methodical approach, high attention to detail and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of own work.
Ability to undertake a 2:1 FIFO roster.
