The Position
  
Reporting into the Project Manager and working closely with your site team you will join a 170 unit development worth approx. $110M. You will take the lead on the financial management across the project with a team underneath that you will train and mentor.
  
You will be offered flexible working arrangements where you can spread your time between the office, 1 day from home and the site in Wollongong.
  
This role will long term lead into a Contracts Manager role and sit in the middle management leadership team where you will help shape the next generation of CA’s
  
What You’ll Do
  • Lead end-to-end head contract administration, ensuring compliance with contract terms, project milestones, and client obligations.
  • Manage upstream negotiations, scope changes, extensions of time, and commercial claims to protect project and company interests.
  • Manage a team of CA’s managing downstream and sub contractor administration
  • Review, and submit progress claims, variations, and contractual correspondence with accuracy and strategic oversight.
  • Partner closely with the Project Manager to forecast costs, mitigate risks, and provide clear commercial reporting to senior leadership.
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive communication, timely issue resolution, and a solutions-focused approach.
What You'll Bring:
  • Degree in a relevant discipline - Construction Management
  • Strong technical knowledge of project software, BCA, and project planning
  • Strong negotiation skills and local sub-contractor and consultant relationships
  • Experience managing head contract administration and highly developed skills around contractual risk migrating
  • Experience working in the tier two environment on projects in excess of $50M 
Salary will be depending on experience however figures between $180K – $220K can be expected
