An established and highly regarded custom joinery and kitchen business is looking to appoint an experienced Senior CAD Operator to join their team on a full-time basis.

This business delivers bespoke, high-end residential joinery projects across Sydney and works closely with architects, designers, and builders on premium homes. Due to continued workflow and an active project pipeline, they are now seeking a capable CAD professional who can operate confidently at a senior level.
 
The Role
As the Senior CAD Operator, you will be responsible for producing accurate, detailed joinery documentation for complex residential projects from concept through to manufacture.
Key responsibilities include:

• Producing detailed joinery drawings using Cabinet Vision
• Developing shop drawings suitable for CNC manufacturing and production
• Working closely with project managers, designers, and the workshop team
• Interpreting architectural and interior design documentation
• Resolving technical design issues prior to manufacture
• Ensuring drawings align with production capabilities and installation requirements
• Assisting with material selections, finishes, and detailing where required

This is a hands-on, senior role where your experience and judgement will be relied upon daily.
 
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Senior CAD Operator / Joinery Draftsperson
• Strong Cabinet Vision experience (essential)
• Background working on high-end residential joinery projects
• Solid understanding of joinery construction, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with internal teams
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Experience producing drawings for CNC-driven manufacturing environments

Experience working with bespoke kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, and full-house joinery packages within high-end residential properties will be highly regarded.
