An established and highly regarded commercial joinery manufacturer based in South-Western Sydney is seeking an experienced Senior Cabinet Maker to join their growing team on a full-time basis.
This business delivers high-end bespoke joinery solutions across commercial offices, retail environments, healthcare facilities, government projects and hospitality fit-outs. With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued investment in advanced manufacturing technology, they are looking for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in precision workmanship and leadership on the factory floor.
 
The Role
As a Senior Cabinet Maker, you will play a key role in the production and assembly of high-quality commercial joinery. You will work closely with production managers, estimators, and installers to ensure projects are delivered to specification, on time, and to the highest standard.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can lead by example.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from detailed shop drawings and cutting lists
• Manufacture and assemble custom commercial joinery
• Operate CNC machinery and other workshop equipment (edge banders, panel saws, etc.)
• Ensure accuracy, quality control, and attention to fine detail
• Mentor junior cabinet makers and apprentices
• Liaise with production and installation teams to ensure seamless workflow
• Maintain a safe and organised workspace in line with WHS standards

 
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Trade qualification in Cabinet Making / Joinery
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in commercial joinery manufacturing
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience working with a range of materials including laminates, veneers, solid timber, acrylics and composite boards
• Confidence operating modern workshop machinery (CNC experience highly regarded)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Leadership capability and willingness to support apprentices
