About the Role Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with site teams, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and proactive safety culture across our projects.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident working independently and engaging effectively with subcontractors, site managers, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits
  • Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company policies
  • Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings
  • Review SWMS and high-risk work documentation
  • Incident investigation and reporting
  • Maintain site safety records and documentation
  • Provide practical safety guidance to site teams and subcontractors
  • Monitor and drive continuous safety improvements
About You
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Safety Officer role within commercial construction
  • Experience working for a main builder highly regarded
  • Strong working knowledge of NSW WHS legislation
  • Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
  • White Card
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work across multiple sites
  • Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel to regional NSW as required
