We are a small, well-established Sydney-based commercial builder specialising in high-quality fit-out projects across hospitality, retail, workplace, and refurbishment sectors. Due to a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming work, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team on a 4-month contract.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with a tight-knit delivery team and can hit the ground running.
The Role Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
• Conducting quantity take-offs
• Subcontractor and supplier procurement & negotiations
• Preparing BOQs and cost plans
• Identifying value engineering opportunities
• Assisting with variations and project cost control where required

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 5+ years’ experience estimating commercial fit-out projects
• Strong knowledge of Sydney subcontractor market rates
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience pricing projects ranging from $500k – $5m
• Proficiency in estimating software and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Ability to work independently in a small team environment
