The Company:
Our client is one of Australia’s largest privately-owned construction companies who turn over in excess of $800M and have a combined workforce of over 400 people that deliver works within federal, state and local governments as well as private institutions and blue-chip corporates. Covering most commercial sectors Scope of work is an Education project worth $40M in the North Shore.
The Position:

The Position:
- Support management with the implementation of the Health, Safety and Environment Management to achieve compliance.
- Responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for employees, subcontractors and visitors
- Operating under compliance to relevant Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) legislation
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental legislation
- Providing advice, guidance to management supervisors, team and contractors.
- Must have Cert IV Work Health & Safety
- Experience in Integrated Management Systems & full knowledge of ISO9001 & AS/NZ4801 standards
- Ability to undertake internal quality auditing
- Excellent written skills & experience in writing policies & procedures
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word & Excel
- Knowledge of environmental compliance
- 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
