CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have been approached by a new clients to Site based Engineer to assist with Quality Assurance (QA) until the end of the project.

Our client are a leading Main Tier Contractor who have a currently pipeline of works on the Eastern Seaboard alone in excess of over $1bn. They operate in a range of different sectors but are renowned for their expertise in Road Construction projects with state Government Transport organisations such as TMR, RMS and Vic Roads.

This role will report to the Quality Manager on site the role will involve Quality Control and Quality Assurance support for civil construction works such as Road surfacing, drainage, earthworks, pit & pipe routes.

You will be expected to create and managing Quality documents including Inspection and Test Plans.

The role is an immediate requirement for a 3 month period to close out works towards the back end of an existing projects so it would suite Engineers in between projects or a sole trader looking for a short term contract in SE QLD.

Selection Criteria:

- 2-5 years Civil Construction experience
- Civil Engineering Degree
- Experience Road /Highways
- Prior experience with a main tier civil contractor is preference
