Major Infrastructure Project - Brisbane
We are seeking experienced Electrical and Mechanical Project Engineers to join a high-profile infrastructure project in its critical Completions & Commissioning phase.
With multiple vacancies available across both disciplines, this is a rare opportunity to contribute to the closing stages of one of Brisbane's most iconic transport infrastructure projects, delivering complex M&E scopes across newly constructed stations and tunnels.
The Role
Working as part of an integrated project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day Project Engineering functions across Mechanical and Electrical packages during the final stages of construction and into commissioning.
This is a contract position offering an above-market day rate, with immediate starts available.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee delivery of M&E scopes across new build stations and tunnel infrastructure
- Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are delivered safely and in line with programme
- Manage ITPs, QA documentation, inspections, and test packs
- Drive completions processes including punch lists, defect management, and handover documentation
- Support commissioning activities including FAT/SAT coordination and system integration
- Interface with design, construction, and client-side stakeholders
- Monitor progress, cost, risk, and reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards
- Degree-qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer on large-scale infrastructure, rail, transport, or heavy industrial projects
- Strong experience in M&E delivery through completions and commissioning phases
- Solid understanding of QA processes, testing, and handover requirements
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
- Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills
- Above-market contract rates
