ASAP Start
We are seeking an experienced Project Mechanical Engineer to join a leading civil infrastructure delivery team in Sydney. This role will focus on water pumping stations and pipeline projects, with a strong emphasis on procurement and design review activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and manage mechanical design reviews for water pumping stations and associated pipeline infrastructure
- Oversee procurement activities, including supplier engagement, tender evaluations, and contract administration
- Liaise with designers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure technical compliance and project timelines are met
- Provide engineering input during construction to ensure quality, safety, and environmental standards are maintained
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
- Proven experience in water infrastructure projects, ideally with pumping stations and pipelines
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and design review methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Location: Sydney, NSW
- Duration: 4-month temporary contract
- Start: ASAP
- Rate: Competitive daily rates
