Procurement Stores Officer - Permanent Role | $120k + Super | South of the River
Are you an experienced Procurement Stores Officer with a passion for precision and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Join a dynamic business that designs, engineers, and manufactures material handling equipment, primarily built in stainless steel, for a variety of industrial applications.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to take ownership of procurement and inventory functions in a facility where manufacturing and fabrication work hand in hand. This is a full-time, permanent role-based South of the River, offering circa $120,000 + super, working 38 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement and inventory functions to ensure accurate stock levels and timely delivery of materials.
Operate and maintain ERP/MRP systems for ordering, tracking, and reporting.
Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet production schedules and project timelines.
Oversee stores and warehousing, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with safety standards.
Support the fabrication and manufacturing teams with effective materials management and parts availability.
What You Bring:
Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing/fabrication environment.
Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (essential).
A proactive and organised mindset with excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
Experience working with stainless steel components (highly regarded).
