CGC Recruitment have partnered with a National Civil Contractor who are growing rapidly in South East QLD. This business specializes in Service Relocation and Utilities works and have 10+ years tried and tested experience in this space. They are going through a period of growth in their QLD business and have recently secured a pipeline of $15ml worth of work to deliver as part of a major project in Brisbane. As of such they are actively looking to recruit a Project Manager to look after and take overall project accountability for a number of projects, leading a team in a senior position in the business.
The position will report directly in to the Operation Director and as of the flat management structure in the role will offer a chance to make key decisions and become a strategic part of the senior leadership team.
Managing a team 10-15 staff and have full project responsibility which will include development and control of budgets, reporting of project progress, technical and delivery strategies, risk, project schedules, deliverables, commercial and procurement arrangements. Scope of works will include; utilities relocation, trenching, installation of underground services and excavation. 

We are looking to speak to driven Project Managers who who are team leaders, are contractually very switched on and have the capacity to make key decisions which will effect critical project outcomes. To be considered for this role you must possesses the following:

- Degree in Civil Engineering 
- At least 8 years civil construction experience 
- Prior experience working for a Tier 2 or Tier 3 Civil Contractor self performing works 
- Ability to lead a team but also report up into a Operations Director 
- Project delivery experience on Utilities projects between $5-25ml
- Prior experience delivering  projects in brownfield environment 
- Must be an Australian permanent resident
