The Company
- Tier 3 commercial builder – new build construction, fit out and refurb projects up to $10m – all D&C
- Dominant contractor for pubs and clubs, also deliver education, commercial and hospitality projects
- Well gelled-together team, good office culture, team lunches, coffees, etc.
The Project –
- $6m high profile client
- Golf club w/ wellness centre, sauna, plunge pool
- New build element for restaurant + commercial kitchen
- External landscaping and elevated timber walkway on screw piles
- Must have some experience with concrete footings, slabs and structural steel
- Live environment
- Previous experience as a CA so they understand and can manage procurement, forecasting and cost reporting
- Will consider experienced PMs or Junior PM / Project Engineers ready for the step up
The Position – Project Manager
- Lead and manage multiple fit-out projects from concept to completion.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate and liaise with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards and deadlines.
- Manage budgets and project resources effectively, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Lead site meetings, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Resolve any issues or delays efficiently, maintaining excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately and up to date.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment with all teams involved in the project.
- Experience on a similar type of project
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
