An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing Project Management & Engineering consultancy led by two highly respected Directors with Tier 1 construction backgrounds and over 40 years of combined industry experience.

The business has built a strong reputation through long standing industry relationships and repeat clients, delivering multi-million-dollar construction and infrastructure projects across both the government and private sectors. With a healthy pipeline of work and continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a capable Project Manager to support project delivery across complex electrical, infrastructure, transport and industrial projects. You will take the lead on these projects in a lean team. 

This role will suit a hands-on Project Manager who enjoys working in a consultancy environment, managing stakeholders, and delivering technically challenging projects from planning through to commissioning.
  
The Role
You will be responsible for managing projects across electrical infrastructure, depot upgrades, industrial facilities, and transport-related works, often within brownfield live operational environments. 

This role would also be suitbale for a Project Engineer that has been working in the above environments and would be looking to step into a project manager role. 

Location - Sydney CBD 
Salary - $140,000 - $160,000 + Super

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver construction and infrastructure projects from feasibility through to completion
  • Manage brownfield construction works within live operational sites
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders
  • Oversee programme, cost, risk, and quality management
  • Administer contracts, including RFIs, variations, EOTs, claims, and defect close-out
  • Manage commissioning, staging, and operational readiness
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and client requirements
  
Essential Experience
  • 8–12 years’ experience in electrical infrastructure, industrial, depot, or transport projects
  • Strong experience delivering brownfield / live environment construction
  • Knowledge of HV/LV systems, substations, switchgear, cabling, SCADA, or energy systems
  • Experience with commissioning, construction logistics, and operational interfaces
  • Strong contract administration and project controls experience
  • Proven stakeholder coordination with operators, councils, utilities, and regulators
  • Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera P6, risk tools, and document control systems
  
Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
  • WHS / Electrical safety qualifications highly regarded
