Our client is a respected construction business operating across NSW and QLD, delivering high-quality new builds and fit outs across hospitality, retail, commercial, and industrial sectors.

They're known for building strong client relationships, and approximately 80% of their work comes from repeat business.

They are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their Sydney office, overseeing new build and heavy refurbishment projects. This is a hands-on office-based role with occasional site travel, offering exposure to live environments and high-profile projects.
  
The Role
You will lead projects from design through construction, coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants to deliver exceptional outcomes. Projects will typically be in the retail and hospitality spaces, including complex live environment refurbishments valued at $1-7M. 

You will be supported by experienced Construction Managers with opportunities for mentorship, development, and career progression.

Salary - $170,000 - $220,000

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of new build and heavy refurbishment projects
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and contracts
  • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and internal project teams
  • Oversee projects in live environments, ensuring minimal disruption
  • Monitor risk, quality, and compliance across projects
  • Report progress to senior management and liaise with clients
  
About You
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction
  • Strong background in retail or hospitality projects, ideally in live environments
  • Experience managing new build and refurbishment projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Commercially astute with strong leadership abilities
  • Office-based, with flexibility to travel to sites as required
  • Degree in Construction Management or similar (essential)
