Location: Projects NSW-wide - Company Offices Based in Eastern Suburbs
Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 + Super (negotiable based on experience)

As the business continues to secure major high-rise developments across Sydney, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager with extensive curtain wall and façade experience to join their leadership team.
 
About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering high-rise curtain wall façade projects, from initial design coordination through to final installation and handover.
This is a senior leadership position, requiring a proven track record managing complex façade packages (including unitised curtain wall systems) and the ability to oversee both design management and on-site project delivery.
 
Project Leadership
  • Lead multiple façade projects from tender handover through to completion.
  • Develop and manage project programs, budgets, procurement plans, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure façade works integrate seamlessly with overall building construction timelines.
Design & Engineering Coordination
  • Work closely with internal and external façade designers to finalise technical details and system designs.
  • Review architectural and structural drawings to identify design constraints and opportunities.
  • Drive value engineering solutions to enhance performance and reduce cost.
Procurement & Fabrication
  • Oversee the procurement of aluminium extrusions, glass, fixings, and associated materials.
  • Manage fabrication schedules and quality control processes.
  • Liaise with suppliers and fabrication teams to ensure timely delivery to site.
Installation & Delivery
  • Plan and oversee site installation of curtain wall and window-wall systems.
  • Coordinate installation crews, access equipment, cranes, and logistics.
  • Resolve technical issues, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with WHS standards.
Quality & Compliance
  • Maintain quality assurance documentation and ensure compliance with Australian Standards (e.g., AS 4284).
  • Conduct or witness façade testing, including water, structural, and performance tests.
  • Ensure projects meet all contractual, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, builders, architects, and engineers.
  • Lead project meetings and provide detailed progress updates and reports.
  • Foster long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders.
 
Skills & Experience
  • Extensive experience in façade project management, with extensive exposure to high-rise curtain wall systems.
  • Proven ability to manage complex façade projects from design through to installation.
  • Strong understanding of glass and aluminium systems, façade engineering principles, and Australian Standards.
  • Experience managing design coordination, budgets, procurement, and site operations.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen, ability to manage variations, budgets, and contract documentation.
  • Trade background in glazing, fabrication, or installation highly regarded.
  • Proficiency with project management and QA software such as Procore, Aconex, Hammertech, SimPro, and CAD tools.
  • Advanced Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
