About the Company
Our client is a reputable commercial builder specialising in small to medium-scale fit-out and refurbishment projects across the Sydney metropolitan area. With a strong pipeline of upcoming tenders, they are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team on a 3-month contract, working closely with the Senior Estimator.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Estimator with strong local market experience to contribute to a busy and collaborative estimating team. The successful candidate will be responsible for tender preparation, quantity take-offs, and pricing across a range of commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Complete accurate quantity take-offs and pricing from drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for quotations and pricing comparisons.
• Assist the Senior Estimator with cost planning and tender reviews.
• Ensure all estimates are delivered accurately and on time.

About You:

• 5–10 years’ experience as an Estimator within the local Sydney construction market.
• Proven experience with commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Proficient with Cubit or CostX estimating software.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a small office team.
