Job description

CGC Recruitment have again partnered with one of their longstanding clients, who are a leading National Civil Contractor who deliver complex infrastructure projects right across Australia. Their key areas of focus includes, Transport infrastructure (Road & Rail), Defence and Renewable Energy (Solar & Wind-farms).
 
Due to market conditions their transport business in QLD is rapidly growing and have been recently been shortlisted on a number of complex Brownfield Infrastructure Upgrades within the Rail corridor. They have identified a critical need for an experienced Project Engineer to join the business on a full time basis.
 
The role will initially be office based working in pre-contracts responsible for providing engineering expertise to develop constructionethodologies, assist with tender submissions and schedules as well as develop planning and procurement strategies. Projects you will be involved in include, Rail Station Upgrades and Bridge Replacement Works. There after the role will progress into a site based delivery role, working as part of a small scale elite team to deliver projects up to $50ml.
 
The role will need someone who is a team player and also very self driven as this role will look to step up into a Senior PE within 6-12 months. To be considered you must meet the following selection criteria:
 
- Relevant Engineering Degree 
- Minimum 6 years post graduate experience
- Proven experience delivering projects within a brownfield environment
- Prior experience from a building background will be an advantage   
- Strong communication skills dealing with multiple stakeholders 
- Ability to develop methodologies and deliver out in the field
