Project Engineers - Bulk Earthworks (FIFO)
6-Month Contract | 8/6 FIFO | BNE 
 
We are currently seeking experienced Project Engineers to join a major bulk earthworks project on a large-scale mine site. This is a 6-month contract opportunity working on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Brisbane Airport, offering above-market rates and the chance to be part of a flagship mining project.
 
The Project

• Major bulk earthworks package on an active mine site
• Large-scale, high-volume production environment
• Well-established client with a strong delivery team

The Role
 
You will be responsible for the full range of day-to-day site and project engineering duties, including but not limited to:

• Set-out, survey coordination, and quantity tracking
• Daily production reporting and progress claims
• Cost control, scheduling support, and forecasting
• QA documentation, ITPs, and compliance
• Coordination with supervisors, operators, and subcontractors
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to program

About You

• Degree-qualified Civil Engineer
• 5-10 years' experience in civil construction
• Strong bulk earthworks experience is essential
• Previous mining experience highly regarded
• Confident working in fast-paced, high-output environments
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
