Senior Estimator - Construction / Infrastructure (Defence)

• $160,000 - $180,000 + Super

A leading national contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join its established pre-contracts team, based in modern corporate offices north of the river.
 
This is a key role within a high-performing estimating function, reporting to the Pre-Contracts Manager and Estimating Leads, contributing to major tenders across diverse sectors including buildings, civil, engineering, resources and Defence.
 
The Role
 
You will be responsible for leading and supporting competitive tenders with values up to and exceeding $100M, ensuring accuracy, commercial rigour and strategic input throughout the pre-contract process.
You will work collaboratively within an established team environment, engaging with internal stakeholders, consultants and subcontractors to deliver winning submissions.
 
About You

• 10+ years' estimating experience within the Australian construction market
• Proven experience delivering tenders up to $100M+
• Background working for Australian main contractors (essential)
• Experience across building, civil, engineering and/or resources sectors
• Defence sector experience highly desirable
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and Project)
• Working knowledge of estimating software such as Pronamics Expert, Bluebeam or similar
• Full Australian working rights
