CGC Recruitment are working with a National Tier 2 Civil Contractor who are growing organically across QLD focusing on the delivery of complex infrastructure and Urban Development projects. They have been recently awarded a number of new project one of which is a restricted cell and landfill relocation project. 
 
As of such they have a newly created role for a Project Engineer to join the business on a full-time basis. As project Engineer you report to the PM on site and be responsibilities will include; Ordering of materials, Working directly with the design consultant, Day-to-day management of all operations, Day-to-day cost tracking, Submission of payment claims, Organization of all plant and machinery.
 
In this role you will become a critical part of the Infrastructure Team involved with the delivery of a wide range of challenging projects and also get exposure to pre-contracts Engineering when sitting in between jobs. As of the nature of the project applicants will ideally have exposure to the following scopes of work; 
 
- Earthworks,
- Landfill Cell Constructions
- GCL Liner installation
- Landfill Capping
- Remediation
- HES basin Construction
