About the company
Our client is a state-wide Government agency within the Transport sector who operate across NSW. They work supporting road maintenance and construction projects.
About the role
Brownfield projects in the roads and structures space across a large portfolio of minor and major projects being delivered to improve the commuter experience across the Hawkesbury, Central Coast and Lake Macquarie area.
You will be expected to work as a project engineer managing between 2-4 projects ranging from $500k- $3m each in value.
Typical projects will include upgrade of drainage and pavements as well as road resurfacing, utility relocation and culvert upgrades, intersections and retaining walls.
For example a project would be widening a road to put in a new left hand turn into an intersection.
This is an initial contract role for 6 months with the possibility of an extension or permanent role.
Skills & experience
Experience working on RMS/TfNSW projects is an advantage though other state authority or local council infrastructure experience is accepted.
