Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage civil infrastructure projects in the Sydney CBD area.
- Focus on paving, utilities, and excavation aspects of the project.
- Implement and enforce quality assurance and quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor compliance with quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project documentation related to quality procedures and processes.
- Identify and resolve quality-related issues promptly to prevent project delays.
- Coordinate with testing laboratories and inspection agencies to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Provide technical expertise and support to project teams as needed.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure quality is integrated into the project from the planning stages.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer in civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of paving, utilities, and excavation processes.
- Previous experience in implementing and managing quality assurance and control processes.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and software.
