With a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking an experienced Pre-Contracts Manager to join our Brisbane-based team and play a pivotal role in securing and shaping future projects.
 
The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, the Pre-Contracts Manager will be responsible for leading front-end project activities from tender through to handover. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical capability, commercial acumen, and a genuine passion for winning work.
 
The position is Brisbane based, with reasonable site travel expected, and offers the opportunity to collaborate with a highly capable and passionate team of construction professionals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the pre-contracts process across multiple tenders and pursuits
  • Develop construction methodologies, programs, and tender strategies
  • Work closely with estimators to prepare competitive and compliant submissions
  • Provide front-end project engineering and constructability input
  • Liaise with clients, designers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Support tender reviews, value engineering, and risk/opportunity assessments
  • Assist with project transition from tender award to delivery teams
About You
You are a motivated and experienced civil construction professional with a strong background in complex, multi-discipline projects.
 
 
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in civil construction
  • Proven experience delivering multi-disciplined civil projects
  • Strong background in pre-contracts, tendering, and front-end project engineering
  • Hands-on site experience combined with solid commercial and technical skills
  • Ability to develop practical construction methodologies
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A genuine passion for winning work and contributing to business growth
