Summary

CGC Recruitment are working in partnership with a well established and highly reputable tier 3 commercial building head contractor with an excellent reputation, and as a result of being awarded a $25m+ shopping centre redevelopment they are growing the team, with the addition of a Site Engineer / Project Coordinator. 

The Client

With a proven track record of delivery, a stable senior management team and a business that prides themselves on developing internal staff and providing opportunities to progress, you'll be joining a medium sized commercial building head contractor who typically deliver projects from $10-40m across a variety of industry sectors - Commercial, Retail, Industrial, Education etc. 

The Role - Project Coordinator / Site Engineer

A hybrid opportunity, where you'll wear multiple hats - you'll be the Site Engineer on the project, looking after a couple of packages - notably the structures package, so it is an essential that the professional comes with some prior experience working with concrete structures. 

You'll also be responsible for QA / Inspections, RFI's and supporting the project manager and wider delivery team. 

Requirements

An excellent opportunity for a Project Coordinator / Site Engineer with 2+ years construction experience, looking to gain further exposure on a variety of projects and join a tight knit team. 

It's preferable that you have an Engineering degree (Civil or Structural), however they would consider someone from an Architectural background if they have good structures knowledge.
