Job description

Our clients' role is to actively grow and manage the supply of the right types of housing, at the right time, in the right areas, for people in need in our communities.

They manage the largest portfolio in Australia, with over 125,000 properties, valued at $51 billion. Each day, they manage 1,750 requests for maintenance at a cost of $1m per day.

They are currently looking to engage a Programme Officer for a 6 month contract based in Mount Druitt. 

Purpose of the role:
This position is essential to the functioning of Asset Regions in Support the local administration and delivery of LAHC’s maintenance contract. Assist in the management of lawns and grounds contract. To maintain the Corporations asset base at a high level for and timely identification and resolution of service delivery or asset related issues involving contractors.

Experience:
  • Sound experience or exposure, to a variety of computer systems including but not limited Excel, near maps or similar, Adobe and MS Project skills desirable
  • Knowledge of Contract Guidelines, LAHC standards and policies together with the capacity to interpret and apply guidelines, standards and policies;
  • Good analytic skills to support the development of key projects, review, monitor and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery within LAHC
  • Good communication skill, assists in preparing a range of project related documents including briefing notes, status updates, reports, budgets and discussion papers
  • Meeting project deadlines and budgets in line with agreed standards and milestones; and * residential experience and/or a trade certificate
