Job description

Our client are a Government wide organisation within the Transport Sector and due to a large increase in workload are actively seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to support workload on an initial contract basis.

You will be primarily be responsible for developing new corporate project procurement procedures and assisting with the strategic procurement processes and procedures. In addition to this you be expected to establish new contracts using a tender process, lease with relevant stakeholders & deputy project directors management of variations of existing contracts and managing invoice payments to necessary time frames.

We are actively looking to speak wit experienced Contract/Procurement Managers who have a breadth of experience working for both a Tier 1 Contractor and Client Side Rail Organisations. The role is an initial contract position for a 3 month period but has the possibility of extension or to develop into a full time role.
