Job description
An opportunity has arisen for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join a growing and highly collaborative building services team in Perth. This role is suited to someone with 4-6 years of local consulting experience, who is looking to take on more design ownership, client interaction, and technical leadership across a diverse range of projects.
You'll work on projects spanning healthcare, commercial, education, residential, and mixed-use developments, contributing to innovative and sustainable mechanical services solutions that set new benchmarks in performance and design quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality mechanical building services designs, documentation, and specifications.
- Undertake HVAC design and modelling using tools such as Revit, IES, and other design software.
- Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated building services solutions.
- Liaise directly with architects, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Participate in design reviews, peer checks, and coordination meetings.
- Support project delivery from concept design through to construction phase services.
- Assist in mentoring junior engineers and developing internal technical standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification.
- 4-6 years' experience in building services consulting (HVAC/mechanical).
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC/BCA, and industry best practice.
- Proficiency in design and documentation software such as Revit, IES, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated experience working on commercial, healthcare, or institutional projects.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Desire to contribute to a collaborative, progressive, and technically driven engineering team.
