CGC Recruitment are looking for an experience leading hand carpenter to work for a luxury home builder across the Lower North Shore & Northern Beaches. This role will be perfect for someone who wants to be mentored into a site manager and run very high-end residential projects.

This company works on projects up to $20m on new build homes & large renovations. This will be a full-time position to join a long-standing team and work on award winning homes.

As a Leading Hand, you’ll work closely with the site manager and will require to do the below duties:

• Lead a small team of skilled carpenters and apprentices
• Ensure work is delivered to high standards and within project timelines
• Interpret architectural plans and collaborate with designers and subcontractors
• Manage on-site materials, tools, and quality control
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient worksite

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade-qualified carpenter with a minimum of 5 years of experience
• Proven experience on luxury or architecturally-designed homes
• White Card & Crane Operator ticket (would be a bonus)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Own tools and valid driver’s licence
