The Company:

Longstanding and well established bespoke joinery contractor with a strong pipeline across the commercial and high rise sector for 2023. With a structured and highly supportive management team they are well setup across design, estimating, manufacturing and delivery. 

You will be provided access and exposure to a structured, professional working environment delivering exciting projects across Sydney Metro Areas. 

The Role:

• Overseeing and supervising high end commercial and high rise joinery projects up to $2M.
• Maintaining a high level of quality control.
• Reading and interpreting drawings and plans
• Mentor and lead the team of trades (2 – 20 staff at any time)
• Liaising with clients and other subcontractors (Carpenters, Electricians, Plumbers, Stonemasons etc)
• Check measuring
• Ensuring schedules & KPIs are met
• Ensuring WH&S is adhered to within government legislation

About You:

• Trade Qualifications in Joinery/Carpentry/Cabinet Making
• Prior site management or leadership/management experience
• Strong level of joinery methodologies and coordination
• Ability to mentor and motivate
• Ability to problem solve and think on their feet
• Proven previous in commercial joinery
• High level of communication both written and verbal
