HVAC Technician - Naval Ships
Sydney, NSW
Circa $80k + super + phone + tablet + profit share
 
Responsibilities:

• Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul and Upkeep (MROU) of the following military specification equipment / systems:
• Marine Chilled water plants (CWP) (1050kW)
• Air Handling units (AHUs)
• Fan coil units (FCUs)
• Self-contained air conditioner (SCACs) units
• Fuel fired boilers
• Provisions stores and fridges
• All associated equipment
• Valves
• Condensers
• Evaporators
• Pumps
• Etc.
• Must be eligible for security clearance
• There is a serious amount of paperwork in our industry so computer literacy is a must

 
These are not typical commercial HVAC positions. The business is primarily large scale marine chillers, marine HVAC systems, boilers and other portable and fixed HVAC equipment for Defence.
 
Vehicles can be included in the packages but this needs to be negotiated on a case by case as the packages change based on vehicle chosen, distance, etc..
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a different sector within the HVAC Market and become a specialist in the Defence, Naval Ships area.
