Location: Goldfields, WA
Roster: Even-time options available - 7:7 or 2:2. Workshop role supporting underground fleet.
Rate: Up to $90 per hour + retention bonus

Role Overview

We're seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join a supportive team environment in the Goldfields. This role offers consistent rosters, strong earning potential, and the chance to work on a variety of machinery in a well-equipped surface workshop.
 
Duties

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on underground mobile equipment (e.g. loaders, trucks, drills).
• Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Conduct component change-outs and rebuilds (engines, transmissions, hydraulics, driveline).
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel systems.
• Undertake welding, fabrication, and machining tasks as required for repairs.
• Use OEM manuals and technical drawings to guide accurate repairs.
• Complete workshop-based overhauls of underground fleet components.
• Operate diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical/electrical faults.
• Ensure all work complies with site safety standards and procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Trade qualification: AU/NZ Diesel Mechanic Certificate (or equivalent)
• Current Australian manual driver's licence
• Full Australian working rights
• Minimum 1 year mine site experience
• National Police Clearance
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
