Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Foreman to join their growing team. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.

This highly respected national Tier 2 builder are currently one of the busiest builders in QLD. They have multiple projects starting in 2024 which varies from hospitals, student accommodation projects, Large complex CBD refurbs and many more.

We are looking for an experienced Foreman or two to join the business. You will come from a Tier or a Tier 1 background and have experience in structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of construction workers on assigned projects.
• Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of daily work activities, including labor, materials, and equipment usage.
• Conduct regular safety briefings and enforce safe work practices on the site.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment amongst the crew.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience as a Foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
• Come from a trade background
• Stable career to date
• Previous experience with a large Tier 2 builder, or a Tier 1 builder.
• Strong skill set with structures
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and WHS requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
