Experienced joinery company based in Wetherill Park leading the market within the health, government, commercial and high rise sectors. Due to locked in projects forecasted for FY24/25 this contractor has an excellent reputation in the market delivering high quality joinery and are seeking an experienced foreman to ensure quality and smooth day-to-day operations.  

The Position

• “Off the tools” reporting into the Operations Manager overseeing manufacturing & logistics.
• Leading and managing the day to day activities in the production process
• Ensuring and maintaining quality, safety and efficiency of production 
• Planning and scheduling of materials, production, machinery and labour 
• Daily toolbox talks, highlighting target, outcomes and safety
• Mentor and lead the assemblers, machinist,& logistics (10 – 20 staff at any time)
• Ensuring manufacturing schedules & KPIs are met

About you:

• 3 years + in a similar role
• Trade background in Joinery/Cabinet Making/Furniture
• Ability to manage, mentor and motivate a team
• Efficient time and staff management skills essential.
• Natural leadership skills with a hands on approach.
