Based in the Blacktown Area in their 1200m2 state of the art facilities who provide commercial joinery across Health Care, Aged Care, Education, Hospitality and Corporate. With withstanding relationships with Fitout contractors & Architects they are well placed in the industry for the long term. With a well-structured, progressive, and innovative team across Design, Estimating, Manufacturing and Delivery you will be joining a high performing and supportive team.

The Role:

• “Off the tools” reporting into the Production Manager overseeing Manufacturing & Logistics.
• Maintaining a high level of Quality Control
• Mentor and lead the Assemblers, Machinist, Paint & Logistics (10 – 20 staff at any time)
• Ensuring manufacturing schedules & KPIs are met
• Responsible for stock control & ordering
• Ensuring WH&S is adhered to within government legislation

About You:

• Trade Qualifications in Joinery/Cabinet Making/Wood Machining
• Prior Factory Management or leadership/management experience
• Ability to mentor and motivate
• Ability to problem solve and think on their feet
• Proven previous in commercial joinery
