The Client:

A family-owned Fire Protection business based near Campbelltown, they are a tight-knit, supportive unit who are all about working together and sharing knowledge. 

They are looking for a Junior level estimator to join their team and assist with quoting for repair and replacement works.

This would suit someone coming from a technician background and looking to get into office-based work, or a recent graduate (mechanical engineering). 


Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate costs for repair and replacement of fire extinguishers, hose reels, pumps, emergency lighting, and other fire protection systems.
• Collaborate with technicians and clients to understand project requirements.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate and competitive quotes.
• Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and product knowledge.

Requirements:

• A keen interest in fire protection and safety.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Basic knowledge of estimating principles is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
