Summary

An opportunity has become available for an Estimator to join a well-established commercial builder delivering a diverse pipeline of projects up to $50m across the Perth metro area.

This role would suit a Junior / Intermediate Estimator looking to take the next step in their career, working closely with senior leaders and gaining exposure to full end-to-end tender processes.

The Role - Estimator

You’ll be involved in the preparation of competitive tenders across commercial construction projects, supporting the pre-contracts team from initial pricing through to submission.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with cost plans, take-offs and BOQs
  • Obtaining and analysing subcontractor pricing
  • Preparing tender documentation and pricing schedules
  • Liaising with consultants, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Supporting value engineering and tender reviews
  • Working closely with senior estimators and construction teams
About You
  • 2–4 years’ experience in an estimating or pre-contracts role
  • Background in commercial construction preferred - open to Estimators who may be interested to transition from fit out to new build projects
  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Confident communicator with a proactive attitude
  • Keen to learn and develop within a growing team
