Estimator – Fit Out Industry
The Company –
Based in Pyrmont, this commercial interior fit out contractor delivers high-quality projects valued up to $10 million. With a strong reputation in the industry, 75% of their work comes from repeat clients across government, education, public sector, and ambulance services, with the remaining 25% made up of select private clients.
The business is in an exciting phase of growth, with a dynamic team and a supportive, people-first culture. The office environment is relaxed and team-oriented, where collaboration is encouraged and being dog-friendly is a must, thanks to the two much-loved office pups.
Salary up to $130k + super

The role will involve –
- Calculating how much a proposed project will cost
- Researching prices and collecting quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
- Monitoring inflation and exchange rates
- Checking the client’s requirements
- Drawing up bids for work
- Keeping an eye on projects to make sure costs stay in line with forecasts
- Drawing up detailed and accurate price lists for everything needed on a construction project
- Considering risk assessments and health and safety requirements
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience minimum as an Estimator
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations
- Experience with similar size projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Australian working rights
