Overview
We are seeking a motivated Civil Site Engineer to support the close-out of an external civil works package on a landmark billion-dollar infrastructure project. This is a 6-month contract commencing in January, offering the opportunity to join an experienced Tier 1 delivery team for the final stages of the project.
 
Role Responsibilities
As the Civil Site Engineer, you will carry out day-to-day site engineering duties to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of the remaining works. Key responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing and supporting a dedicated subcontractor delivering external civil works
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Setting out, inspections, and tracking progress against programme
  • Daily coordination with site management, supervisors, and subcontractors
  • Maintaining accurate records, ITPs, as-built documentation, and reporting
  • Supporting the close-out of all engineering and documentation requirements

About You

We're looking for a driven and adaptable Civil Site Engineer who can hit the ground running within an established and fast-paced team.
You will ideally have:
  • 2+ years post-graduate experience in civil engineering or site engineering roles
  • Strong setting-out, QA, and coordination skills
  • Experience working on civil or infrastructure projects
  • Confidence managing subcontractors and driving work on site
  • A proactive attitude and strong commitment to safety
