I’m currently partnering with a top tier mechanical services contractor that is continuing to secure some of the most complex and high-value HVAC projects in the country.

Due to sustained growth, they’re looking to appoint an Estimating Manager to lead their projects estimating function.

This is a genuine leadership role, managing a team of 2 estimators (set to double in the short term), with strong backing from senior leadership and a clear pathway to build out the department.

The Role

As Estimating Manager, you’ll take ownership of estimating across major mechanical projects, working closely with pre-construction, commercial and delivery teams.

Projects span:

• Data Centres
• Healthcare
• Education
• Industrial

You’ll be involved early in bid strategy, tender reviews, risk profiling and value engineering, while also mentoring and developing your team.

The Ideal Background

I’m keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Strong estimating experience on large-scale HVAC / mechanical projects
• A background working for a large HVAC or mechanical contractor
• Exposure to complex, technically demanding projects
• Proven leadership or mentoring experience within an estimating team
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
